NOTES AND QUOTES

"I was really pleased with how we played today. Even though we split, it was a solid day of team softball. In game one, it was a pitcher's duel and Marist just came up with one more hit. I was very happy with how we came out in game two. We continued to attack and put runs on the board. Both Kylie and Alyssa threw very well. We're excited to get back home, tweak a couple of things, and continue our progress."  – Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
