LITTLE SILVER, NJ – The Monmouth University men's tennis team earned another sweep on Sunday, defeating Quinnipiac, 7-0.
The Hawks won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (
Max Benaim and
Sergio Martinez) and No. 3 (
Will Cooke Wharton and
Charles Gortzounian).
The home team also won all six singles matches, with only one going to a third set.
Monmouth improves to 10-2 (3-0 MAAC) on the season, and has won eight straight matches. The Blue & White have also won 25 straight regular season MAAC contests.
