NOTES AND QUOTES

"Today we were the aggressors in all phases of the game. I was very pleased with how we came out, and we did a great job of handling all of the circumstances. From pitch one, we attacked. Both of our pitchers did a great job of mixing and working out of jams. The defense made the routine plays, which is what we ask for. It was an all-around great team day with tons of energy. Quinnipiac is going to fight back hard tomorrow, and we'll have to be prepared." – Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
