LITTLE SILVER, NJ & WEST POINT, NY – In two matches this weekend, the Monmouth University men's tennis team earned a 6-1 win over Colgate before falling to Army, 4-3.
 
Senior Will Cooke Wharton earned two wins at No. 1 singles and went 1-0 at No. 2 doubles. Freshman Charlie Penman won twice at No. 3 singles and went 1-0 at No. 2 doubles with Cooke Wharton. Senior Sergio Martinez also picked up two singles wins, at No. 5 and No. 6.
 
Monmouth's record now stands at 2-1 on the season, and the team will continue play at Delaware on Friday.
