A'Liah Moore will be honored by the New Jersey Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) on Wednesday night at the 2021 National Girls and Women in Sports Day virtual celebration.
McNeil will be the keynote speaker for the event, which will begin at 7 p.m. on February 3 and can be viewed at NJAIAW.com, and will also be honored with a special recognition award for her achievements during her career in college athletics.
Moore was chosen as Monmouth's NJAIAW Woman of the Year representative and will be recognized by the organization, along with nominees from other NJAIAW member institutions. Each of Monmouth's women's programs nominated student-athletes, who will be celebrated at Monmouth's annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day event. This year, the virtual event will be held on Sunday, February 21 at 2 p.m. This year's event will feature Talitha Vickers '02, Tasha Youngblood Brown '97, Monica Reese and Kara Kelly, as well as featured alumni and women in our local community in leadership positions.
