WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth women's cross country team earned the CAA Team Academic Excellence Award, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
This is the first time the women's cross country team has been recognized with the prestigious honor and marks the 12th time a Monmouth program has earned the award since the school joined the conference in 2022-23.
The CAA Team Academic Excellence Award is presented to the team in each of the league's 22 sports with the highest collective grade point average. Team GPAs are calculated based on the academic performance of all student-athletes listed on an institution's roster through the conclusion of their respective championship seasons during the 2025-26 academic year.
