EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced the 2021-22 Preseason Coaches' Polls for Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field, which were voted on by head coaches around the league.
 
The Monmouth men's team was voted as the unanimous favorite after receiving all eight first-place votes, totaling 64 points. The women's team received seven first-place votes while compiling 78 points overall.

"We're very excited to get rolling with the 2021-2022 indoor track & field season," head coach Mike Nelson said. "Our student-athletes and coaches did not get to experience the indoor season last year. When we head to Ocean Breeze on December 10th, it will have been about 640 days since our last indoor meet.  Training has gone well this fall and we can't wait to compete!  Fly Hawks!"
 
The Hawks will open their indoor track and field season next Friday, December 10 at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout in Staten Island, NY.
