-The Friars have claimed each of the previous five matchups.

GOING BACK-TO-BACK
Monmouth captured back-to-back wins against Navy and Saint Joseph's marking the first time since the 2019-20 campaign (Feb. 8 & Feb. 11) that the Hawks won two consecutive games. The victories over the Mids and Hawks both came at home, marking Monmouth's first two-game home win streak since Dec. 7 and Dec. 17 of 2019.
OFF TO A SOLID START
First-year head coach
Ginny Boggess has the Monmouth women's basketball team sitting at 2-1 through the first three games of the season. She is the first head coach since Jackie DeVane (2000-01 season) to begin her head coaching career at Monmouth with two wins in her first three outings. Monmouth's last 2-1 start to a campaign came during the 2015-16 season.
CLARK CLIMBS THE LADDER
Despite being the shortest member of the Monmouth women's basketball team at 5-foot-4, Stella Clark leads the Hawks in rebounding with 7.3 boards per contest. The Sea Girt, N.J., native not only leads the Hawks, but is tied for first in the nation among active players who are 5-4 or smaller. Senior Asiah Dingle of Fordham is tied with Clark with 7.3 rebounds per contest at 5-foot-4.
LIMITING THE OPPOSITION
Monmouth has gotten it done on the defensive end as of late, holding each of its previous two opponents to less than 50 points. The last time the Hawks did not allow two straight opponents to eclipse 50 points in a game was on Jan. 9 and Jan. 11 during the 2019-20 campaign against Fairfield and Iona.
