EDISON, N.J. – Sophomore
Belle Kranbuhl of the Monmouth women's basketball team was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Third Team on Tuesday.

Kranbuhl is coming off a season in which she averaged 7.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game en route to earning MAAC All-Rookie Team recognition as a freshman. She ranked 20th in the nation with 45 blocks and additionally logged a team-best three double-doubles and shot an efficient 48 percent from the field in 18 outings.

Monmouth received 33 points and was picked to finish 10th in the preseason poll. Quinnipiac was picked first after earning 115 votes, while Manhattan (105) and Fairfield (99) rounded out the top-three.

Kranbuhl and the Hawks will begin their 2021-22 campaign on Nov. 10 in Syracuse, N.Y., against Syracuse.
