WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ- Monmouth University kicker
Nick Null has been named as Big South Special Teams Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Null earns his first Big South weekly award after the graduate student converted all of his extra points and a pair of field goals, finishing with 10 points in the win over Campbell. The senior connected on four extra points and had a season long field goal of 48 yards in the third quarter. Earlier in the game Null made a 38-yard field goal and had four of his seven kickoffs force touchbacks.

Monmouth improved to 4-3 overall and 3-0 in the Big South with a 34-17 win over Campbell on Saturday. The Hawks have the bye week before returning to play at North Carolina A&T on October 30.
