Shooting 51.6% (32-62) from the field, Saint Joseph's defeated Monmouth on December 15, 80-52. Ten different players scored for St. Joe's, and the home team drilled 10 total three-pointers. Redshirt junior Jen Louro led Monmouth in scoring again with 12 points, including 5-of-7 from the free throw line. Freshman Gabrielle Wener went into double figures for the first time in her career, adding 10 points on 2-of-2 from deep. After earning her first career start, freshman Jania Hall scored double digits for the second consecutive game with 10 points.
 
SCOUTING THE MANHATTAN JASPERS
Manhattan was selected first in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Senior center Courtney Warley and sophomore guard Emily LaPointe were named to the Preseason All-MAAC First Team, while grad guard Gabby Cajou was named to the Third Team. Through 11 games, Warley is averaging a double-double with 10.8 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Junior guard Dee Dee Davis leads the team with 11.9 points per contest and 20 made triples.
