LAST TIME OUT
After trailing by as many as 16 points, Monmouth stormed back in the second half to defeat Siena last Thursday, 49-43. The Hawks outscored the Saints 36-18 in the third and fourth quarters, shooting 13-26 (50%) from the floor. Senior Sierra Green led the way with 17 points, including 15 (6-12 FG) in the second half. Senior Taylor Nason registered her second career double-double with 11 points (5-8 FG) and 11 rebounds.
 
SCOUTING THE MANHATTAN JASPERS
Manhattan clinched a first round bye in the upcoming MAAC Tournament with a win over Iona on Monday. The Jaspers currently sit in third place behind Marist and Rider, and have won four straight games. Freshman Emily LaPointe leads the team with 12.3 points per game, and has won MAAC Rookie of the Week seven times this season. Junior Courtney Warley is averaging 11.4 points per game to go along with a team-leading 8.7 rebounds per game. Manhattan ranks top-four in the conference for scoring defense, rebounds per game, blocks, assists, and steals.

The Hawks hold a 16-11 all-time series lead, including a 62-60 overtime win in West Long Branch on December 17.
