LAST TIME OUT
A contested jumper with five seconds left sent Canisius over Monmouth on Saturday, 54-53. Sophomore Alexa Wallace made a layup with 26 seconds left, but the Golden Griffins answered with time running out. The Hawks lost by one point for the third consecutive game. Senior Sierra Green scored a season-high 20 points in the loss, netting four three-pointers. Senior Akilah Jennings added 12 points and four rebounds.
 
SCOUTING THE SIENA SAINTS
After being selected 10th in the MAAC Preseason Poll, Siena currently ranks 7th in the conference. The Saints snapped a three-game losing skid with a win over Saint Peter's on Saturday, 71-64. Senior guard Sabrina Piper leads the team with an average of 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 77 assists, and 38 steals. She is the only player to start all 25 games this season. Junior guard Rayshel Brown is adding 10.7 points per game. Sophomore guard Amari Anthony scores 9.6 points per game, and is tied for the team lead with 31 made three-pointers. Siena ranks second in the MAAC in blocks per game (3.8).

The Saints hold a 12-10 all-time series lead, including a 51-39 win in Loudonville earlier this season.
