LAST TIME OUT
Monmouth erased a 13-point second half deficit, but was eventually edged at Niagara on Thursday, 62-61. Monmouth took the lead on a layup from senior Alexa Middleton with 58 seconds remaining, but Niagara took the last lead on a three-point play with 15 seconds left. Middleton ended with 21 points and 12 rebounds, notching her eighth double-double of the season. Senior Sierra Green added 14 points in the loss, drilling three triples.
 
SCOUTING THE CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS
Since defeating Monmouth in January, Canisius has lost 12 of its last 13 games. The Golden Griffins dropped nine straight games before defeating Fairfield on February 8. Canisius ranks last in the MAAC in turnover margin at -4.5 per game. Senior guard D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks leads the team with 15.1 points per game and 49 triples. Junior forward Danielle Sanderlin is adding 12.8 points and leads the team with 7.8 rebounds per game. Last Saturday against Saint Peter's, Sanderlin became the first Golden Griffin to record 30 points in a single game since 2003.

The teams have each won eight games in the all-time series, including a 71-62 win by the Golden Griffins in January.
