SCOUTING THE IONA GAELS
Iona was selected ninth in the MAAC Preseason Poll after going 3-15 in conference play last season. Sophomore Juana Camilion was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Third Team, and is averaging 8.5 points per game. Senior Morgan Rachu leads the team with 14.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest. Sophomore guard Shyan Mwai is adding 9.5 points per game, and is second on the team with 20 three-pointers. The Gaels snapped Quinnipiac's 52-game MAAC winning streak on January 2.
