ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Monmouth University women's tennis team opened the 2019-20 season over the weekend, competing in Navy's Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational. Sophomore Nicole Gasser won her first match over Niagara in the "C Commitment" singles flight, 1-6, 6-2, 10-5. Junior Sydney DeNardo won the "E Perseverance" singles consolation flight. Freshman Bella Winter won two matches in the same flight.
