BETHLEHEM, PA – In its first road game of the season, Monmouth University women's soccer team played Lehigh to a scoreless draw on Sunday afternoon at Ulrich Sports Complex.
Monmouth held a majority of the opportunities in the match and finished with a 22-10 advantage in shots, but was unable to break through with its first goal of the 2019 season.
Jesi Rossman had an attempt narrowly miss the top corner in the 19
th minute and
Maddison Perna was stopped by the diving Lehigh keeper Miranda Royds in the 75
th minute, which were among the best scoring chances.
