SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC- The Monmouth University women's basketball team began their foreign trip with a 77-34 win over Club Deportivo Mauricio Baez.
 
This was the first of two games during the team's trip to the Dominican Republic. The team spent the day touring the historic sights of the Dominican capital city of Santo Domingo.

• Lucy Thomas led the Hawks with 25 points while shooting 8 of 11 from the field.
• Akilah Jennings started her first game of her Monmouth career and scored in double figures with 11 points.
• Adriana Zelaya led the Hawks in rebounding with 8 boards.
• As a team the Blue and White shot 53.8% from the field and 6 of 20 from three.
• Sierra Green added 11 points and dished out a team-high 6 assists.
• All eight Hawks that played scored.
