LITTLE SILVER, NJ – In the last match of the regular season, the Monmouth University men's tennis team swept Niagara, 7-0. Senior Srdjan Jakovljevic earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, and teamed up with senior Alberto Giuffrida for the win at No. 2 doubles, 6-1. Junior Max Benaim took home a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, and also won at No. 1 doubles with teammate Sergio Martinez, 6-3.  Monmouth outscored opponents 86-7 on its 14-match winning streak to close the regular season, and end with a 16-1 (6-0 MAAC) record. The Blue & White already secured their fifth-straight Regular Season Championship and No. 1 seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament prior to the match.
