LAST TIME OUT
Outscoring the Golden Griffins 20-9 in the fourth quarter, Monmouth outlasted Canisius to advance to its first MAAC semifinal since 2015-16. The game was tied at 44 heading into the final frame, and the Hawks went 10-14 from the free throw line en route to a 12-2 run to close the game. Monmouth held a 28-2 advantage in second chance points, thanks in large part to 19 offensive rebounds. Freshman Lucy Thomas led to Hawks with 18 points to go along with nine rebounds, while junior Alexa Middleton registered her seventh double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
 
SCOUTING THE QUINNIPIAC BOBCATS
The Bobcats have won 19 straight games, and 50 straight MAAC games dating back to 2016-17. All-MAAC First Team selection Aryn McClure is averaging 10.3 PPG and 5.7 RPG. All-MAAC Second Team selection Jen Fay led the team with 11.6 PPG. All-MAAC Second Team selection Paula Strautmane registered 9.1 PPG and 5.0 RPG. Junior Taylor Herd was named MAAC Sixth Player of the Year after averaging 7.9 points during the regular season.
