Pulling away in the second half with a 41-21 advantage, Marist earned a 69-45 win over Monmouth on Thursday night. The Hawks tied the game at 30 early in the third, but the Red Foxes went 15-29 (52%) in the second half to post a 39-15 score the rest of the way. Monmouth went just 2-of-14 in the fourth quarter, and 3-16 from three-point range in the game. Freshman Lucy Thomas led the team with eight points on 4-9 from the floor. Monmouth honored its two seniors prior to the game in McKinzee Barker and Erica Balman. Barker added six points and four assists in the loss, while Balman put up four points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.
 
SCOUTING THE SAINT PETER'S PEACOCKS
The Peacocks will be the #11 seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament, registering a 1-16 conference record thus far. Junior forward Zoe Pero leads the team with 13.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Freshman Briyanah Richardson is adding 12.7 points per contest. Saint Peter's gives up a league-worst 44.4 rebounds per game, and the Hawks lead the conference in rebounding at a 40.2 clip.
