LAST TIME OUT
Using a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter, Canisius defeated Monmouth on Sunday, 65-56. The Hawks scored the first five points of the final frame to get within two, but the big Golden Griffins run put the game out of reach. Junior Sierra Green led the team with 15 points, including four triples. Freshman Lucy Thomas added 12 points, going a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line to go along with two three-pointers. Canisius shot 24-51 (47%) from the floor, and held Monmouth to just 17-60 (28%).

SCOUTING THE MARIST RED FOXES
The Red Foxes currently rank third in the MAAC with an 11-5 record, and leads the league with 68.5 points per game. Junior guard Rebekah Hand leads the team with 16.8 points per game, which is third-best in the MAAC, and 5.9 rebounds per contest. Hand also leads the nation in free throw percentage, making 93-99 (93.9%) this season. Redshirt junior Alana Gilmer is averaging 15.3 points, starting all 28 games. In the Red Foxes last game against Quinnipiac, redshirt junior Grace Vander Weide dished out a program-record 15 assists.
