NOTES AND QUOTES
Â
"We didn't have a lot of energy against Columbia in game one. When they came out ready to go, we just didn't match and allowed them to take over the game. We talked about all 16 players playing as a team and towards one collective goal. They really rose to the challenge in game two against an outstanding FIU team.
Sam Tomasetti had a huge home run for us, and then Alyssa and the defense did the rest. We came up with key defensive plays with runners in scoring position, and came up with an excellent victory." –
Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
