LAST TIME OUT
Monmouth led for 38:12 in a dominant win over Saint Peter's on Tuesday, 70-50. The Hawks took a 7-4 lead early in the first quarter and never looked back, shooting 29-57 (50.9%) from the floor and 9-21 (42.9%) from three-point land. Junior Alexa Middleton registered her fifth double-double in the last 10 games, scoring 12 points with a career-high 17 rebounds. Senior McKinzee Barker was one shy of a career-high with 16 points, shooting an efficient 6-8 from the floor and 4-6 from long range. The Hawks grabbed a season-high 53 rebounds in the win and matched a season high of 19 assists.
 
SCOUTING THE NIAGARA PURPLE EAGLES
After being selected ninth in the MAAC Preseason Poll, Niagara is currently ranks fourth in the conference, one game ahead of the Hawks. Junior guard Jai Moore is third in the MAAC with 16.6 points per game, and won the most recent Player of the Week award after a 30-point performance against Canisius. Junior guard Maggie McIntyre is averaging double-figures with 10.3 points per contest, starting all 26 games thus far.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. NIAGARA
Earlier this season in West Long Branch, Monmouth earned a 76-54 win over the Purple Eagles. The Hawks now lead the all-time series 7-5.
