LAST TIME OUT
A put-back layup with 2.2 seconds remaining gave Iona the win over Monmouth on Friday, 52-51. After battling back from a seven-point deficit, the Hawks led by as many as seven with 1:16 left in the third quarter. Monmouth went 1-4 from the free throw line in the last 31 seconds and turned the ball over 27 times in the game. In the first, third, and fourth quarters, Iona made a basket with less than three seconds remaining. Junior Alexa Middleton picked up her fourth double-double in her last nine games, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds.
 
SCOUTING THE SAINT PETER'S PEACOCKS
Saint Peter's has dropped its last eight games after earning its lone MAAC win at Fairfield on January 15. Junior forward Zoe Pero leads the team with 13.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Briyanah Richardson leads all freshmen in the MAAC with 12.9 points per game, including a 39-point output in the win over Fairfield. The Peacocks give up a MAAC-high 69.4 points per game.
