LAST TIME OUT
After trailing by eight points at the end of third quarter, Monmouth outscored Manhattan 25-9 in the final frame for the comeback win on Tuesday, 71-63. Junior Sierra Green scored a season-high 28 points in the win, going 7-12 from beyond the arc. Green scored the most points in a single game since February 23, 2009 (Jennifer Bender, 35). In a back-and-forth game, there were 13 total lead changes and 10 ties. Monmouth went 14-15 from the free throw line in the contest, including 11-11 in the fourth quarter.
 
SCOUTING THE IONA GAELS
Iona has lost its first 13 conference games, and has dropped 20 straight overall. On Tuesday, the Gaels dropped a 75-64 decision at Rider. It was their highest-scoring game of the season, as four players went into double-figures. On the season, Iona averages a MAAC-low 44.2 points per game. Morgan Rachu leads the team with 11.1 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game.

The teams have each won nine games in the all-time series. Earlier this season, Monmouth earned a 55-38 win in New Rochelle behind 16 points from senior McKinzee Barker, which was one shy of a career-high.
