LAST TIME OUT
Loyola Maryland took the lead with 7:33 left in the second quarter and maintained it the rest of the game, defeating Monmouth on December 20, 64-48. The Greyhounds pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Hawks 22-9 and taking an 11-point lead into halftime. Senior Alexa Middleton registered a double-double for the second consecutive game, ending with 12 points and 12 rebounds, which both led the team.
 
SCOUTING THE UALBANY GREAT DANES
UAlbany was selected third in the America East Preseason Poll, and junior Kyara Frames was named to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team. After defeating Columbia in overtime in the season opener, the Great Danes lost five straight games. After three straight wins, the team is currently on a three-game losing skid. Senior center Alexi Schecter leads the team with 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Frames is adding 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds, while leading the team with 45 assists and 21 steals.
