Leading from wire-to-wire, Monmouth earned its first win of the season over Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, 60-46. Redshirt sophomore Jen Louro scored a career-high 24 points in the win, going 8-16 from the floor and 6-13 from deep. A strong defensive effort saw the Hawks hold the Mastodons to 17-52 (33%) from the floor, including 5-26 (19%) from three. Senior Akilah Jennings added eight points and a career-high eight rebounds, while senior Sierra Green netted nine points.

#24 Arizona is undefeated in its first seven games of the season. Junior guard
Aari McDonald leads the team and ranks 9th in the nation with 21.3 points per game. Sophomore forward Cate Reese is second on the team with 13.4 points per game and leads the team with 7.6 rebounds. The Wildcats are second in the nation and lead the Pac-12 in scoring defense (45.6). Arizona is one of two teams in the nation in the top 10 in field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense.
