Using a 16-0 run in the second half, Princeton held off Monmouth on Sunday afternoon, 52-40. The Hawks led by as many as eight points late in the second quarter, but the Tigers held a 25-16 advantage in the second half. Princeton held a 20-9 advantage on the offensive glass, resulting in 15 second chance points. Senior 
Sierra Green led the Hawks with 16 points and four assists, drilling three triples.
 
SCOUTING THE SAN DIEGO TOREROS
San Diego has compiled a 3-1 record so far this season, including wins over Towson, Air Force, and Division II program Biola. Last time out, the Toreros fell to San Jose State, 88-82. Four players are averaging double figures, led by junior guard Myah Pace and senior guard Madison Pollock with 11.8 PPG. Senior forward Patricia Brossmann leads the team with 9.5 rebounds per game to go along with 10.3 points. Senior center Leticia Soares is adding 10.8 PPG and 6.5 RPG.

In the only meeting between the Monmouth and USD, San Diego earned an 81-51 win in 1989. The neutral game was part of the L'eggs Classic in New Mexico. The Hawks have never faced Texas Tech or Purdue Ft. Wayne.
