LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – In its first conference match of the season, the Monmouth University women's tennis team fell at Rider, 4-3. Freshman Nicole Gasser earned her first career dual match win at No. 2 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-4. Sophomore Chinonye Gabriel won at No. 3 singles in three sets, 7-6, 4-6, 10-8. Monmouth's third singles win came by default at No. 6 singles. The Hawks fell at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, earning the default win at No. 3 singles.
