FINAL SCORE – 2 OT
Quinnipiac 10 (8-5, 5-0 MAAC)
Monmouth 9 (6-7, 3-1 MAAC)

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Dylan Schulte's goal with 30 seconds remaining forced overtime, but Quinnipiac remained unbeaten in MAAC play with a 10-9 overtime victory over the Monmouth University men's lacrosse team on Friday afternoon at Kessler Stadium.

Neither team scored more than two consecutive goals in a game that was tied on nine different occasions. Monmouth scored goals as time expired in the first quarter (Schulte) and right before halftime (Bryce Wasserman) to take a 5-4 lead into the intermission.

Dan Bloodgood's goal opened the scoring in the fourth quarter and made it 8-7 in favor of the hosts, before Quinnipiac scored twice over the next six minutes to take its first lead since early in the second quarter. Schutle's goal sent the game to overtime, but it was Quinnipiac who prevailed on a goal by Ryan Corcoran.
