WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University men's tennis team earned its third straight conference sweep on Sunday night, defeating Fairfield 7-0. The Hawks improved to 10-13 (4-0 MAAC) on the season, and have won six straight matches. Junior Nicola Pipoli earned the 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles, while junior Srdjan Jakovljevic won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. The Hawks also took home wins at No. 3 singles (senior Ale Gomez Estrada), No. 4 singles (sophomore Max Benaim), No. 5 singles (freshman Will Cooke Wharton), and No. 6 singles (sophomore Sergio Martinez). The Hawks won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 (Gomez Estrada and Benaim) and No. 3 (Jakovljevic and Martinez).
