NOTES AND QUOTES
"It was a great day overall. In game one, it took us a little to get going offensively, but I'm proud of the way we attacked. Against California, our pitchers executed the game plan and produced a lot of ground balls. Offensively, we put some balls deep in the outfield and didn't have any runs to show for it, which was frustrating. But overall, we did a lot of good things against a great team. We're excited to get back out there tomorrow."
