NOTES AND QUOTES
"Obviously the result is not what we were hoping for, but I have to give a lot of credit to Quinnipiac. They are the defending champions for a reason. They took it to another level today, and from the tip-off they were ready to go. They showed us what we need to keep striving to be. On the flip side, I have the utmost respect for the fact that our kids continued to fight for 40 minutes. We never quit and played through a lot of adversity on the floor, which has been the case for the season. With all of that being said, I think the girls feel a success in the finish of this season, and feel like they have a lot to be proud of." – Monmouth head coach Jody Craig
