CONWAY, SC – The Monmouth University men's tennis team earned three singles wins along with the doubles point to take down Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, 4-3. Junior Srdjan Jakovljevic won at No. 2 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-1, while senior Ale Gomez Estrada took the 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles. At No. 5 singles, sophomore Sergio Martinez handled Coastal's Juan Castellanos, 7-6, 6-2. Monmouth picked up the doubles point after wins at No. 2 (Gomez Estrada with sophomore Max Benaim) and No. 3 (Jakovljevic and Martinez). The Hawks improved to 4-11 on the season, and will travel to St. John's on March 25.
