QUICKLY
Monmouth opens the 2018-19 season at home against Bucknell. Last season, the Hawks compiled a 10-21 record, advancing to the MAAC Quarterfinals for the fifth straight season. Monmouth was selected to finish seventh in the 2018-19 MAAC Preseason Poll. The roster features seven returners and seven newcomers.
 
SCOUTING THE BUCKNELL BISON
The Bison fell to Navy in the Patriot League semifinals last season, but enjoyed a successful season with a 22-10 record and a trip to the WNIT. Bucknell returns all three of its top scorers from a year ago, all seniors. Guard Kate Walker averaged 12.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, forward Kaitlyn Slagus added 12.7 points and 9.0 rebounds, and guard Kyi English registered 10.0 points per contest. The Bison were picked to win the Patriot League in the Preseason Poll, while Slagus and Walker were named to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team.
