Emani Clough scored 10 points in the final 2:34, propelling Monmouth to its second straight win at Sacred Heart last Sunday, 55-50. The Hawks trailed 45-43 with 3:56 to play, but Clough hit two triples, a jumper, and two free throws to give the Hawks the win. Freshman

SCOUTING THE GEORGE WASHINGTON COLONIALS
The Colonials snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over Towson on Tuesday. The defending A-10 tournament champions were projected to finish in a tie for third in the preseason poll. Senior point guard Mei-Lyn Bautista was named to the preseason Atlantic 10 all-conference second team and all-defensive team, and currently leads the team with 11.7 points per game. Sophomore forward Neila Luma is adding 10.0 points per game and leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game.
