QUICKLY
Junior Emani Clough scored 10 points in the final 2:34, propelling Monmouth to its second straight win at Sacred Heart last Sunday, 55-50. The Hawks trailed 45-43 with 3:56 to play, but Clough hit two triples, a jumper, and two free throws to give the Hawks the win. Freshman Lucy Thomas scored in double-figures for the fourth time in the last five games, adding 11 points and eight rebounds. Junior Sierra Green registered double-digit points for the fifth straight game, compiling 10 points on two triples.
 
SCOUTING THE GEORGE WASHINGTON COLONIALS
The Colonials snapped a four-game losing streak with a win over Towson on Tuesday. The defending A-10 tournament champions were projected to finish in a tie for third in the preseason poll. Senior point guard Mei-Lyn Bautista was named to the preseason Atlantic 10 all-conference second team and all-defensive team, and currently leads the team with 11.7 points per game. Sophomore forward Neila Luma is adding 10.0 points per game and leads the team with 5.7 rebounds per game.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. GEORGE WASHINGTON
Each team has won two games in the series. Last season, the Colonials earned a 59-45 win. Junior Rosa Graham scored 12 points in 16 minutes.
