QUICKLY
Shooting 29-58 (50%) from the floor, Saint Peter's defeated Monmouth on Friday night, 67-47. The Peacocks snapped a 14-game losing streak and held the Hawks to just 15-55 (27.3%) from the field, including 5-19 (26.3%) from three-point range. Senior Rhaiah Spooner-Knight registered 11 points and eight rebounds in the loss, while junior McKinzee Barker added 11 points and five rebounds. Monmouth dropped to 5-14 (3-5 MAAC) on the season, and will remain on the road to face Manhattan.
 
SCOUTING THE MANHATTAN JASPERS
Manhattan dropped to 7-12 (4-4 MAAC) with a five-point loss to Siena on Friday night. The Jaspers have conference wins over Saint Peter's, Canisius twice, and Iona. The team is led by senior center Kayla Grimme, who averages 14.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Senior guard Amani Tatum adds 12.4 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, a team-high 4.3 assists per game, and a MAAC-leading 2.8 steals per game.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. MANHATTAN
Monmouth holds the slight 13-10 all-time series advantage over the Jaspers. Last year, the teams met three times in a span of 14 days, including Monmouth's 62-46 win in the first round of the MAAC Tournament. McKinzee Barker scored 14 points to go along with seven rebounds in the playoff win, while Kayla Shaw added 11 points on three triples.
