Erica Balman grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds, and has at least 10 rebounds in five games this year. Monmouth dropped to 4-13 (2-4 MAAC) on the season, and will host its third home game in five days on Monday against Iona.
SCOUTING THE IONA GAELS
Iona fell to 0-18 (0-7 MAAC) on the season with a 70-48 loss to Siena on Saturday. Alexis Lewis leads the team with 14.4 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game. Lewis dropped 19 points with 14 rebounds when Iona played Monmouth nine days ago. Freshman Tyosi Abiola is second on the team with 12.6 points per game, while Treyanna Clay contributes 10.7 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. IONA
Although Iona holds the 9-7 series lead, Monmouth earned the 62-56 victory in New Rochelle nine days ago. Monmouth outscored the Gaels 15-5 in the fourth quarter, while
