QUICKLY
Outscoring Iona 15-5 in the fourth quarter, Monmouth earned its second straight MAAC win against Iona on Saturday, 62-56. Junior McKinzee Barker scored a career-high 17 points in the win, including four three-pointers. Senior Rhaiah Spooner-Knight scored 13 points to go along with six rebounds and leads the team with 10 games in double-figures. The Hawks improved to 4-11 (2-2 MAAC) on the season, and will return to the OceanFirst Bank Center for three straight home games starting with Quinnipiac.
 
SCOUTING THE QUINNIPIAC BOBCATS
The Bobcats won their eighth straight game and remained undefeated in the MAAC with a 73-66 win over Rider on Monday. With a 13-5 overall record, Quinnipiac is 5-3 on the road. The team is 13-2 in their last 15 games, with losses to Michigan State and Princeton. Junior guard Aryn McClure was named MAAC Preseason Player of the Year, and is contributing 11.0 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. Senior forward Sarah Shewan leads the team with 13.3 points per game while also grabbing 6.2 rebounds per game, but has only played in six contests. Junior forward Jen Fay leads the team with 7.3 rebounds per game and is second on the team with 11.8 points per contest.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. QUINNIPIAC
Quinnipiac holds the 23-17 all-time series lead over the Hawks. Last season at the OceanFirst Bank Center, the Hawks stunned the Bobcats with a 61-58 win. Freshman Rosa Graham hit six free throws in the last 1:15 to secure the win, which snapped Quinnipiac's 8-0 MAAC record and seven-game winning streak. Freshman Kayla Shaw added 20 points.
