WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – After defeating LaSalle at home on Wednesday, the Monmouth University women's tennis team faced a setback on Saturday afternoon as MAAC opponent Siena swept the Hawks, 7-0. Maria Ivanova was the only Monmouth athlete to take it to a third set, eventually falling 6-1, 4-6, 5-10 at #6 singles. Both Adriana Armendariz and Alexandra Graff were edged in the first set of their singles matches, 6-4. Monmouth will look to bounce back this Tuesday, as they travel to Hofstra before taking on George Mason on Thursday.
