HEMPSTEAD, NY – After falling to MAAC opponent Siena on Saturday, the Monmouth University women's tennis team was defeated at non-conference opponent Hofstra, 6-1. Senior Adriana Armendariz earned the Hawks lone win on the afternoon at No. 1 singles, taking the 6-3, 6-1 win over Hofstra's D'Asha Davis. Maria Ivanova battled at No. 7 singles, eventually falling 6-3, 6-4. In the doubles portion, Monmouth lost all three matches, as Alexandra Graff and Victoria Nugent fell at No. 1 doubles, 6-3.
