FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES 2017 RECRUITING CLASS

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.- Monmouth Head Football Coach Kevin Callahan announced the addition of 18 student-athletes to the program Wednesday afternoon.

"I feel very good about the class that we have signed," said Callahan. "Our coaching staff worked extremely hard to recruit this group of talented players who we believe have the ability to have a positive impact on the field. We filled some immediate positional needs, and we added some much needed depth in several areas. We welcome these players and their families into our program, and we are excited to begin working with them."

The 2017 recruiting class includes 16 student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent, to go along with two mid-year transfers. Seven total student-athletes hail from the Garden State, three from Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania and two from Connecticut.
