Navy has ran out to a 6-0 record to open the season, including a 5-0 home record. The Midshipmen defeated MAAC opponents Marist and Rider in the first two games, and have since beaten Norfolk State, Air Force, North Dakota State, and St. Bonaventure. The team features three players that average at least 12 points per game, including senior guard Taylor Dunham (12.7), sophomore guard Morgan Taylor (12.5), and senior guard Hannah Fenske (12.0).
