QUICKLY
Scoring eight straight points in the final 21.8 seconds, Clemson edged Monmouth on Sunday afternoon, 57-54. Sophomore forward
Taylor Nason grabbed her ninth rebound of the game, got fouled, and hit both free throws to put the Hawks up 54-49 with 24.1 seconds remaining, but the Tigers forced three Monmouth turnovers and scored three straight lay-ups to take the lead. The Hawks fell to 1-3 on the season, and look to snap a three-game losing skid at Jacksonville's Thanksgiving Classic this weekend.
