Alexa Middleton added seven points and eight rebounds on the night. The Hawks earned a season-opening win for the second consecutive season, and look for two straight against Lehigh on Tuesday.
SCOUTING THE LEHIGH MOUNTAIN HAWKS
Lehigh was defeated in its season opener at Minnesota on Saturday, 107-73. Four players scored in double-figures, including Hannah Hedstrom (12 points, 7 rebounds), Mae Williams (11 points), Quinci Mann (10 points), and Cameryn Benz (10 points).
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. LEHIGH
Monmouth owns a 7-3 all-time advantage over Lehigh, with the series dating back to 1994-95. Last season, the Hawks earned the 73-62 win in Bethlehem. With 45 bench points to Lehigh's 18, the Hawks earned the 11 point win.
