WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University women's tennis team earned two wins over the weekend, including a 6-1 margin over Coppin State and a 5-2 victory over Saint Francis Brooklyn. Freshman Rachel Rosenthal, freshman Chinonye Gabriel, and junior Maria Ivanova all picked up two singles wins at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5, respectively. Rosenthal also won both doubles competitions at No. 2 with teammate Caroline Mattise. Freshmen Sophia Fredriksson and Sydney DeNardo won each No. 3 doubles match, defeating Coppin State, 6-0, and Saint Francis Brooklyn, 6-3. The Hawks take on Saint Peter's today for the last competition of the fall.
