GLENSIDE, PA – Adriana Armendariz (Pamplona, Spain/Colegio San Ignacio [Maryville]), Alexandra Graff (Bastad, Sweden/IMG Academy) and Kendal Kauffman (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) each won at both singles and doubles as the Monmouth University women's tennis team earned a 6-1 win at La Salle Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Hawks improve to 3-8 on the season.

The Hawks took the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 2. Armendariz and Kauffman defeated Alexandra Santerelli and Jayla Smith, 6-3, at No. 1, while Graff and Maria Ivanova (Moscow, Russia/IMG Academy) earned a 6-2 victory over Asha Anderson and Cecile Johnson at No. 2. Monmouth also took the No. 3 flight by default.

Armendariz battled to a 6-1, 5-7, 10-3, victory over Santerelli at No. 1, while Graff, Chioma Gabriel (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway) and Kauffman earned straight-sets victories at Nos. 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Graff defeated Smith, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 2, while Gabriel took a 6-1, 6-1, victory over Anderson at No. 3. Kauffman made quick work of Johnson, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 4. The Hawks also took the sixth flight by default.   

The Hawks return to action Thursday, when they play host to Maryland Eastern Shore. First serve is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
