Meanwhile, the Purple Eagles have suffered eight-straight losses, including a 76-72 setback to Rider on Sunday.
SCOUTING THE NIAGARA PURPLE EAGLESThe Purple Eagles have been without Preseason All-MAAC First Team selection Victoria Rampado since a season-ending injury after three games. In her absence, Sam Lapszynski has averaged 12.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, while Kaylee Stroemple is close behind at 11.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Taylor McKay just misses double-figures scoring at 9.7 points per game, while Tiffany Corselli has contributed 8.4 points per game. Jamie Sherburne leads Niagara at 4.2 assists per game.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. NIAGARAMonmouth has won the last two meetings to even the series at 3-3. The Purple Eagles won the first two games in 2013-14, both in the regular season, before the Hawks knocked them off in the MAAC Championship First Round. Each team won on the road last season, before the Hawks took this year's first meeting, 83-60, in West Long Branch.

Jamiyah Bethune added 15 points, but the Hawks fell at Fairfield, 80-70, on Sunday. The Hawks shot a season-high 50.0 percent (29-58) in defeat. Kelsey Carey led four Stags in double figures with 21 points.
