WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HOSTS MANHATTAN TUESDAY MORNING

The Hawks play host to Manhattan Tuesday morning in a Kids Day matinee. Monmouth is looking to snap a three-game losing streak, including a 68-60 loss to Fairfield on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Jaspers responded to a three-game losing streak of their own with wins in each of their last three. Included in the current streak was a 74-70 win at Rider on Thursday. Manhattan was scheduled to face red-hot Quinnipiac on Sunday, but the game was rescheduled due to an emergency repair at Draddy Gym.

SCOUTING THE MANHATTAN JASPERS
James Madison transfer guard Amani Tatum leads the Jaspers at 11.8 points per game,  while also dishing out 3.2 assists and making 3.2 steals per game. Fellow sophomore Nyasha Irizarry has chipped in at 9.8 points per game. Redshirt sophomore post player Kayla Grimme has added 7.7 points and a team-best 7.9 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game. Blake Underhill has dished out a team-best 3.3 assists per contest.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. MANHATTAN
Monmouth has won the last three games to tie the all-time series with Manhattan at 9-9. Included in the streak was an 84-67 victory last Feb. 26 at the MAC.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Dana Carbone scored 14 points and Sarah Olson scored 11 points to eclipse 1,000 for her career, but Fairfield surged past the Hawks, 68-60, Sunday afternoon at the MAC. Christina Mitchell grabbed 11 rebounds, her 12th game this year grabbing double-digit caroms.  

LAST TIME AGAINST MANHATTAN
Helena Kurt went off for 23 points, nine assists and six steals as the Hawks ran past Manhattan, 84-67, Feb. 26, 2015, at the MAC. Sarah Olson also added 21 points, including six three-point field goals. Amanda Offenback chipped in with 12 points, while Jamiyah Bethune also reached double digits with 10 points. Christina Mitchell grabbed 10 rebounds off the bench. Kayla Grimme led Manhattan with 19 points and seven rebounds.
